I have two simple pictures that could portray some logical values embedded in them about the kalimah "Allah" issue.
Here is the first picture. I am quite surprise when I viewed a picture being circulated by other Facebookers as depicted below:
I guess it is just a simple logic, isn't it? Surprisingly, this guy was only referring to Prof. Al-Attas' speech which I have transcribed earlier.
Let us move to the second one.
What will happen, if, (let me phrase this in hypothetical mode), we legalized the usage of the word "Allah" to non-Muslim in order for them to "contextualize" their religious practices? Will the repercussion from this legal decision could possibly yield something like the picture being shown below, as what already occurred in Indonesia?
Now, for the sake of our long-lived tradition of peaceful and harmonious society, don't you think this kind of panorama will not cause a great tension and distress among the communities here in Malaysia, especially among the Muslims and Christians?
Sometimes, it is more worthy - and safer, to remain "conservative" than to open up the Pandora's Box.
As a responsible Muslim, I will abide full-heartedly to the Islamic authority in this country - the Fatwa Council, which actually had already concluded upon this matter for quite some time ago.
A picture worth more than a thousand words. Two pictures here, for me are priceless...
